Quickpaw dashed out from the clump of heather, hot in pursuit of a plump rabbit, she smiled as she spotted a flash of brown as Ryepaw snatched the rabbit up and killed it with a swift bite.
"Good catch" Her mentor, Cherrynose, mewed "You two work well together"

Swiftpaw sped down the hill, jumping on occasions to catch up with the rabbit, she sped up her pace and jumped on to the rabbit, killing it with a quick bite. Swiftpaw quickly buried the rabbit to get later on her way back.
She quietly looked around, searching for anymore prey, until she spotted a mouse, quietly chewing on something. She crotched down and very quietly walked closer, without taking her eyes of the target. She leaped into the air and quickly grabbed the mouse in her paws and quickly killed it with a fast bite. She landed softly on the ground and bounded back over to where she had buried the rabbit. She dug it up and picked it with her mouth, still holding the small mouse.

Quickpaw gleamed at the praise but Ryepaw just gazed at his mentor, waiting for praise from him
"Good job" Runningbreeze commented, Ryepaw's tail drooped a little "How about we do some battle practice now?"
Quickpaw nodded enthusiastically "Yes please" She mewed and waved her tail "I want to practice that move you taught me"

Cherrynose nodded "Good idea, but we should take the rabbit back to camp first"

Swiftpaw ran back up the hill, over to where Owlfilight was waiting for her.
"Good job, Swiftpaw" Owlflight said. "Do you want me to carry that rabbit for you? It looks a bit big for you to carry as well as the mouse."
"Yes, thank you Owlflight." Swiftpaw replied, putting the rabbit down.
Owlflight picked the rabbit up in his jaws and the two headed back to the camp.

The four cats walked to the heather patch where they did battle practice. Quickpaw dashed ahead and turned to face Ryepaw "Can we start yet?" She asked her mentor. Cherrynose nodded and took her position on the sidelines "Ryepaw, try to unbalance her" She called.
Ryepaw darted forward between Quickpaw's legs. Quickpaw anticipated her next move and leaped into the air as Ryepaw swiped out at where her paws had been. Quickpaw landed squarely on the young tom's shoulders.

Swiftpaw and Owlflight carried the prey over to the fresh kill pile and dropped them onto it.
"Do we get to do more training today?" Swiftpaw asked.
"Yes, of coarse. It hasn't been a full day yet" Owlflight replied.

Ryepaw collapsed under Quickpaw's weight, Quickpaw mewed in triumph and climbed off of his back "Do you want to try again?" She asked
"Sure" Ryepaw climbed to his paws and leaped again.

"I can't! I'm not fast enough to catch a rabbit..." Strippedpaw whimpered.

"Don't worry, Strippedpaw. You can always try again later," Ravenheart mewed.

"Ravenheart!!!" Snowfeather scolded him and cuffed him on his ear,"when is Strippedpaw ever going to learn with you around?" Ravenheart heard a tone of humor in her voice and knew that she doesn't meant it.

"Sorry..." mewed Ravenheart appologetically.

"Ok, I'll try again," Sighing, Strippedpaw dropped into a hunting crouch, ready to catch some prey. Suddenly, a mouse came out of its burrow. It stood a little in front of Strippedpaw, sniffing a leaf. He pounced, and landed squarely on the mouse and gave it a bite on the neck.

"Great job, Strippedpaw!" said Snowfeather.

"Yeah! my first prey! my first prey! I'm going to give it to you, Snowfeather. You are a wonderful mentor," said Strippedpaw.

"That's very nice of you, Strippedpaw, but we should hunt for Queens and Elders first," replied Snowfeather.

They walked back to the camp and Strippedpaw dropped the mouse on the fresh-kill pile.

Robinflight placed the last pile of herbs back into the store and left her den and padded out of the camp, she was going to the Moonfalls, it was the time of the half moon.

Whiskernose woke in the night.Feeling restless he walked out of the den, trying not to wake the other warriors. He walked over to the fresh-kill and pick up a small mouse.
No one with miss something this scrawny he convinced himself.
As he ate heb wondered aloud "I wonder how Robinflight is." "Probably fast asleep." he said remembering his own insomnia. He had a sudden feeling something was wrong but shook it away.
Nothing bad ever happens to medicine cats. And certainly not Robinflight.

Sheepfur staggered to his feet. "What was that!? You know what, I don't give a couple of mouse-tails about what it is, because it will have scared away all our prey! Especially those jump-at-the-sound-of-a-faling-leaf rabbits! Speaking of Fallenleaves, he still hasn't returned the favor of me helping that tiny apprenice out of the rabbit hole by the border. He said he would. You know, that would have been a very big rabbit! I wanted to look for it, but I didn't have time because then I had to go with Robinflight to collect Catmint! I don't understant why we were collecting Catmint though, no cats in the clan have a cough. Apart from maybe Haystripe. His throat sounds really dry and sore! Maybe it's from shouting at me so much. You know, he'sreally annoying. He just doesn't stop going ON and ON about how I talk too much. I mean, I admit I like talking, but it's not like I talk more than those MarshClan cats! They just can't keep their mouths shut about how better at everything they are than the other clans -" "Oh will you SHUT UP!" Shouted Haystripe at his brother, his tail flickering with annoyance.

"Even if it hasn't scared off the prey you probably have with all that mewling" Morningflower mewed "Why don't you go do something useful instead of waking all your clan mates?" truthfully, the shaking earth had shaken Morningflight too, but she wasn't going to betray her fear when her clan needed her.
